Saddlery Warehouse Ltd, founded by Peter Thorowgood in June 1999 in Auckland, began as a small venture with Peter's extensive experience in the saddlery industry, including his time in England as the largest saddle maker. After realizing New Zealand's equine market was overpriced, he shifted from retail to a warehouse model, selling directly to the public. The company has since grown to become New Zealand's largest saddlery store, serving over 30,000 customers through 14 locations nationwide, while maintaining a commitment to low prices.
